Daily Vignette

Thanks to Uphilldowndale (see link in my blogroll), I now know this cute little flower is a hellebore (see yesterday’s post on Spring Flowers).  UHDD also had a very good suggestion to pick a flower head and float it in a bowl of water to take it’s picture.  The hellebore has a droopy little head, which was really hard to photograph.  Floating one in a bowl of water was just the ticket.  Thanks, UHDD!!  I read somewhere yesterday that there are 20 varieties of hellebore.
