I took this shot the night before the eclipse. I didn’t get any shots of that, but I kinda like this one, with the red glow in the east from the sunset in the west. “Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.” The Library of Congress offers a rather interesting explanation of this old adage. There seems to be several variations of it, with slight differences in the words used and, according to Wikipedia , the U.K. substituting shepherd in place of sailor.
