I’ve been working on the railroad

…All the live long day… [ edit to add:  link to youtube version ]

I got stuck at the railroad crossing today on the way home from work, so I grabbed my camera with the hope of getting some of the graffiti.  Unfortunately I couldn’t get the focus right, but I like the way this one turned out, with the sense of motion that is created.  Taken through my dirty pickup windshield – lots of bugs.

  1. Ok, that song is now going to be stuck in my head all day! 🙂

  2. Well, hopefully you’ll have more than the first two lines stuck in your head, like I have. That’s all I can remember!

oh man .. I know the whole song. This does not bode well.

[I’ve been working on the railroad, just to pass the time of day. Can’t you hear the whistle blowing, rise up so early in the morn; can’t you hear the captain shouting, Dinah won’t you blow your horn ..] I’ll spare you the rest .. LOL

I really like how you caught the motion

  4. Thanks, E. Now I have the WHOLE song stuck in my head! Ha!! Oh wait…you said there’s more??

  5. Very cool action shot… I saw a freight train with lots of interesting graffiti the other day, too. My kids informed me that train graffiti is a recognized art form! Now I’m paying more attention.
