Bored? What to do…

What do you do when you have to fill in at the scale house for a few hours and you are extremely bored?  You take photos of flies and bouquets of dead flowers.  That’s what you do, by golly.  I forgot to bring a book with yesterday morning when I left for work.  My co-worker asked me what I was going to do when I was waiting on trucks.  I said, “Take some pictures!”  She said, “Of what?  Flies?”  Of course!!  What better subject?  Bonus…dead flowers!!

that is a really cool photo!

  2. Your work place sounds as exciting to photograph as mine. 🙂

I’ll look at a fly differently next time it lands on some of my paper work. I have no dead flowers though but I do have a huge shipping container yard that my desk window looks onto….. Mmmm ideas

The black and white works extremely well with this shot.

  3. Thanks, E!! 🙂
Thanks, Liss! I don’t normally work in the scale house, this was just a temporary gig, thankfully. My office actually has a lot of photo ops, some of which I’ve posted – shadow and light series of the office plants, roses, mums, etc. I think it is just a matter of looking at things that you see every day with a different eye.
