Hi! I’m Toni Johnson and this is my photo blog — hopefully a daily photo blog. I work for a large farm, in the Columbia Basin of Washington state, in their accounting department. I am also a fused glass artist, so you might see some pictures of my glass work on occasion. I have a website and blog devoted to my glass, so most photos of my glass will be posted there. I have a Springer Spaniel named Buddy, a Boston Terrior named Buster, and recently gave my kitty named Kitty to my son, because Buddy harrassed her non-stop. You’ll see pictures of them posted here as well as pics of life on the farm and anything else that catches my eye.

Daily Vignette 
Hi Toni…This is the SpokaneLens guy 🙂 Glad to see we both had the same idea here. I was wondering if you used Flickr at all for your photos. If not, but its something that interests you, Flickr offers great deals both as a free service and as a paid service for hosting your pictures. There is also a couple of Spokane-related groups that meet on average once or twice a month to take photo shooting day trips together. The majority of the group are Canon users and its a great way to network with other photographers, and pick up tips and tricks as well as keep up to date on what people think of the latest camera gear. Let me know if you’re interested and I”d be glad to show you more!

Hi Patrick,
Thanks for checking my blog out. For right now I’m just uploading my 3GB worth of pics, but once I use that up I’ll switch to Flickr, which is what I used on the Glass Quilt (see Blogroll). I’ll take that information on the Spokane groups, but not sure how often I get there – usually go to Cd’A. You never know!

Toni; I live west of Olympia so also a Washingtonian. I do amature photography, entering local fairs and such, I’ve been fusing for about a year. I like your idea of a photo a day. I’ve tried to do this but now have a new found desire. I’m thinking of doing the magless fused magnet project, want to look into it a little more too.
The think I’m not sure how to do is having a place to post them. Whom do you use and how do you go about it, do they have a monthly charge etc..
Hope you don’t mind if I check back and look at your posts as I find them uplifting.
